Brinsley Blitz are getting ready for a really exciting milestone as they head into their first season together in the YEL Sunday League, and they’ll be doing it in brand-new colours.
The team are delighted to unveil their fantastic new home and away kits, proudly sponsored by Wonderful Beginnings Childminding and supplied by Empire Kits in Swadlincote, Derbyshire.
The new kits give the Blitz a fresh look for a fresh start, while still keeping plenty of Brinsley identity running through every design.
Our home kit features the traditional Brinsley blue, with bold white stripes running down the centre of the shirt, finished with black shorts and socks. It is a smart, clean design that really stands out on the pitch.
The home goalkeeper kit is bright yellow, giving our keeper something completely different while also representing the unmistakable Blitz colour.
For away matches, the team will switch to a vibrant orange away kit, featuring a striking geometric pattern and paired with black shorts and socks. It gives the team a completely different look while still proudly carrying the Brinsley badge and Wonderful Beginnings Childminding branding across the front.
Our away goalkeeper kit is green, chosen as a nod to the Brinsley Headstocks and the mining heritage that forms such an important part of our club badge and local identity.
The players are loving their new colours
The players have absolutely loved seeing their new playing colours come to life and are really excited to wear them throughout the season.
There is a real buzz around the group as they prepare for their first YEL campaign together, and the new kits have added to that sense of excitement and togetherness.
Most importantly, the players are looking forward to getting out on the pitch, continuing to develop, enjoying their football and hopefully making their first season together a really successful one.

From start to finish, they have been incredibly friendly, helpful and easy to work with, and the finished kits look absolutely brilliant.
Even more impressively, the whole order was completed in just five weeks. That might not sound especially quick until you have ordered football kits during the busiest part of kit-ordering season - it is an excellent turnaround.
The quality, colours and designs have come together brilliantly, and we are really pleased with the finished result.
