Brinsley FC Falcons hold a special place in the club’s history as the first U8 team established at ATFA Brinsley FC.
The team has been led by Gary Hutson, Club Chairman and Dan Eaton – Club Welfare Officer, ever since and has developed steadily through the age groups. In its early years, the Falcons competed in the top divisions of the YEL, giving the players the opportunity to test themselves against some of the strongest teams in the league.
As the team has developed, its focus has evolved too. While we still want players to compete, improve and enjoy their football, the Falcons now place a strong emphasis on supporting development players of all abilities.
Our main aim is to give children a genuine place to play, particularly those who may have been overlooked, released or found themselves without an opportunity elsewhere. We believe every child should have the chance to enjoy being part of a team, build confidence and develop at their own pace.
The Falcons are built around inclusion, development and enjoyment. We want every player to feel valued, supported and part of something, while continuing to improve both as footballers and as teammates.
Above all, the Falcons are about giving children an opportunity to play football, make friends and enjoy the game.
